Description of Home: Mossburn Townhouse is a recently refurnished 2 storied house situated in the centre of a small rural village with excellent views of the Northern Southland mountains. The house was built in the 1960's as a motel house but more recently was used for residental use. We have recently tastfully refurnished it to suit the passing traveller. It has 3 bedrooms, separate lounge, dining room and full kitchen and laundry facilities. Situated in the centre of Mossburn and easy access to cafe and shops

Description of People: Mossburn townhouse is operated by Jeff and Sue Anderson. We live 8 km from Mossburn on a life style block. We have shared ownership in the cafe and information centre close to the house and we have just recently sold a contracting business and Jeff is now working on the new wind farm situated close to our residence. I am involved in local Government and sit on the Southland District Council.

Comments / Attractions:  Mossburn Townhouse is close to the main fishing rivers in Northern Southland and to the Eyre mountains conservation park where there are many great walks and tramping opportunities. Mossburn is a small rural town 1 hour from Queenstown and 1 hour from Te Anau the gate way to Milford Sound.
Buses pass the door to Milford Sound daily. Mossburn has all amenities including a heated swimming pool and 9 hole golf course Cafes and general shopping.
