Description of Home: Lone Kauri Lodge is located in the heart of the Waitakere Ranges with expansive bush and sea views. Our newly refurbished guest wing is separate but connected to the rest of the house and comprises two bedrooms (one with queen bed and one with twin king singles) each with ensuite and a spacious guest lounge/dining room with CD/DVD and Sky TV. Continental breakfast is included in room rate and we can provide dinner and lunch by prior arrangement. We have ample off street parking and storage space for bikes kayaks etc

Description of People: We enjoy living in and sharing our little corner of paradise. Ann enjoys gardening whilst Keith prefers white water kayaking, bush running and mountain biking! We have travelled widely and welcome guests of all races, colours and creeds
Comments / Attractions:  We are ideally located for exploring the many walking tracks min the Waitakere Ranges, surfing at Piha or Karekare studying the local flora and faunae or simply chilling out. Depending on traffic we are between 45 and 60 miuntes from both the centre of Auckland and the Auckland International Airport.
