Description of Home: Kuratau Cottage - South Western Lake Taupo. Relax on large private deck and listen to the birds in the bush. We have a smart, well equipped modern kitchen. Bathroom/laundry has a modern shower, heated towel-rail, heater and fan. Also, Washing machine and dryer for your use. Enjoy our cosy Gas log fire. Comments / Attractions:  Kuratau Peninsula is a popular holiday destination, (South-Western Lake Taupo). The area has a well serviced store. The lakefront is only a short walk to safe swimming, boating and fishing. You are 40 minutes drive to Whakapapa Skifields, 10 minutes to the thermal pools, 15 minutes to shopping and golfing in Turangi. Tongariro River with walking tracks, trout fishing is 20 minutes drive from our cottage.
