Description of Home: We have 2 large lovely rooms for you with an ensuite bathroom. Throughout our large family house you will find paintings and wood features. A lot of NZ Rimu wood is used in the construction of the house.

The lounge has a woodburner for cold evenings. The rooms have electric heaters. The beds have electric blankets. Coffee and tea is available to you in the guest lounge. The ensuite rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, microwave, and fridge.

Choose a double room with a shared bathroom or one with your own ensuite bathroom.

Away from the hustle & bustle close to the city centre, in an easy to find tree-lined street. That's us! As travelling is rather wearing on your body and mind, your room is generous in size, has an ensuite (or guest shared) bathroom and - very important - a comfortable bed.

We are 15 km away from the airport, 7 km away from the railway station, and only 3 km away from the city centre.
A brand new NEW WORLD supermarket is around the corner. Also within easy walking distance are Port Hills walkways, giftshop, bank, bakery, buses, petrol station, etc.

LOCATION: Ngaio Street is a very quiet, easy to find street. We are in easy walking distance of the St. Martins shopping centre, with a large NEW WORLD supermarket, a pharmacy, a bookshop with postoffice functions, a bank, and a hairdresser. Other shops include two bakeries, another two hairdressers, a gift/toy shop, petrol station with workshop, a lawyer, a medical practice, etc. Restaurant “The Brick works” is only 1 km away.

There are lovely walks along the river and on the Port-Hills. It's on your doorstep!

Bus 18 and 66 stop close to us -- takes you to the city centre (3 km). The Orbiter can take you to the university and many shopping centres.

DIRECTION: We are 14 km from the airport. By car follow signs to city centre, then follow directions below. We are south of the city centre.

You will find us 4 km from the city centre. From the city centre, take Barbadoes Street -- a one way street (SH74). Follow this direction (but not SH74 going to Lyttelton) via Walthamroad and Wilsonsroad. Drive towards the Port Hills. When you see the sign, (on your left), for the NEW WORLD supermarket/St Martin Shopping centret turn right into Gamblins Road. First left is Ngaio Street. We are at the end on number 59.
