Description of Home: Kairuru is 17 kms from Motueka township. Your self-contained cottages have wonderful sea views. Kairuru is well placed between Motueka, the Abel Tasman National Park, and the wonderful beaches of Golden Bay. The cottages are very comfortable and built of all wood, with full facilities, laundry, kitchen etc. 

Kea Cottage has two bedrooms and a sleeping loft, sleeping 1-6 people. It has an open plan kitchen, dining, living room, separate laundry with automatic washing machine and bathroom with shower and toilet. The interior and exterior of the cottage is all wood and built in a modern colonial style. French doors off the living room opens onto a sunny balcony to take in the wonderful sea views. 

Pipit Cottage is only 7 years old, sleeps up to 5, with two bedrooms (1 Queen size bedroom and one twin bedroom). Open plan spacious living, dining, kitchen, with separate laundry and bathroom areas. As with Kea cottage, Pipit cottage is all wood and built in a modern colonial style with French doors opening onto a sunny balcony with great views over the surrounding countryside and the Tasman sea. 

The area has a lot to offer visitors, including kayaking, horse riding, fishing, boating, safe swimming beaches, limestone caves, wineries and potters. 

We are handy to the Abel Tasman National Park and the Kahurangi National Park. The Ngarua limestone caves are 5 minutes' drive away. Kaiteriteri beach is a 20 minute drive away. 

Kairuru Farm Stay cottages are ideally situated to explore both Golden Bay, and the Abel Tasman National Park, (both half an hour's drive).
