Description of Home: We are an experienced young Canadian-Kiwi couple with an extensive English Teaching background. We have spent six years in South Korea teaching English conversation to university and business students as well as L.G. Electronics, Samsung and Hyundai employees in Seoul. We will teach you all about New Zealand culture and North American pronunciation. We have a large house near Brighton Beach, close to several golf courses, ESL Institutes and bus stops. (It takes 25 minutes by bus to downtown) Short and long term rates available. We are happy to help you with any questions you may have involving what institute would be best suited to your needs and any help you may require with your visa application..

Matt spent the last 6 years studying Korean language, and now speaks excellent Korean. We have just redone a big old 5 bedroom house that has a huge front yard and back yard. We are looking forward to sharing this with a few international students:)
Occupations/Interests: We have travelled extensively through out the world and love hiking, snowboarding, and relaxing at the beach
Comments / Attractions:  New Brighton beach neighborhood can be found 12km from Christchurch city centre. The beach is an excellent place to learn to surf, kiteboard, try fishing or just relax! If you are interested in taking in some of New Zealand's favorite sporting events "The All Blacks" New Zealand's rugby team, can be found at the local stadium not far from our home. During the summer the stadium's Cricket Matches have also been known to attract large crowds. This is great way to experience the more passionate side of Christchurch locals!  If you enjoy shopping Erin will take you on one of her many shopping trips to High St. where you can check out all the local and international designers, galleries and cafe's. Christchurch is the gateway to skiing in New Zealand. With 8 ski areas within 2.5 hours' drive of Christchurch International Airport, there’s something for everyone: skiing, snowboarding or even heli-skiing - the ultimate ski adventure!
As you can see there is so much to do and we are an active couple who are very happy to show you around.
