Just metres from the pohutukawa fringed golden sands of this world famous beach. The perfect base for enjoying the many and varied activities the Far North has to offer, or just relax...retreat...revive!  Our spotlessly clean and modern studio is fully self contained. We have comfy outdoor chairs and a lounger for the sunny and private grassed courtyard. Plenty of extra towels for the beach and laundry facilities if required. Studio is situated away from entrance to owners residence. Totally private with outlook to Taumarumaru DOC reserve. Walkway to beach and reserve. Two minute walk to Coopers Beach shopping centre incl. Medical Centre, Pharmacy, Four Square, Butchery, Takeaway, Hardware, Liquor and Sports shops.

Comments / Attractions:  Coopers Beach is a 2.5km long crescent shaped beach perfect for running or walking. It's one of the safest beaches in Northland, with the added attraction of shady pohutukawas. Just 20mins drive away is the surfing beach of Taupo Bay or in the other direction, the beautiful twin bays of Matai Bay on the Karikari Peninsula. Doubtless Bay has bountiful fishing and diving with several boat ramps to choose from. Historic Mangonui has plenty of shopping along with the World Famous fish'n'chip shop. If you've come this far, and are keen to visit Cape Reinga, we highly recommend taking a local bus tour with an informative commentary and sand dune surfing! Pick up and drop off at the door.
